Fulfillment Starting!

Hello everyone! Today I got confirmations of a few things that means we are ready to start sending you games! 

First, the Asia and Australia fulfillment centers have their games and their Kickstarter Exclusive cards. So they are ready to ship the game-only orders to you.

QML in the US, who will also be splitting and shipping the games to the UK/EU is still waiting for the boat to get around the Panama canal up to Florida.  However, the replacement books are on their way to QML now. So they may arrive at QML the same time the games do. This means that US fulfillment for games and Beauty Lover  game / Book orders will start pretty much at the same time. The UK/EU games and Beauty Lover's packages should be send to the UK/EU together and they will ship at the same time. There is a slight delay on Beauty Lover orders out of Asia and AU because we have to wait for the books from the USA. But we will send them as soon as they arrive. 

Now, all of that being said, I just paid all of the shipping, so QML has the green light to start sending game-only orders to Asia and AU backers since they received their game orders already. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, and I don't hear a train! ;-) 

Something I would like to encourage you to do is sign up for our occasional News letter. This way you can know when we are asking for playtesters, releasing our new games, see what we're working on and where we will be conference and travel wise when that opens up again. You can sign up here. I try to respect people's inbox so you won't get many. I save them for the important stuff. :-)  I am about to send one out that is a mini-diary entry of this experience, process and my overall Tabletop study journey in general. I hope you find it interesting.

Shipping Update!!!

Hello Everyone,

• Well, the good news is that after several stops at several ports in Asia, the ship bound for the USA with the US and Rest Of World games are headed to the US now. 
• The games bound for China backers is already with the fulfillment house and should be shipped very soon. 
• The games for Australia / NZ have arrived at Aetherworks.

However, the Art books for those of you that chose the Beauty Lover pledge have had some hiccups. 

#1 hiccup, some of them were damaged in transit. QML is going through them to see which ones can be saved and used, and which ones can't. This caused #2 hiccup, they will be delayed getting to Australia.  QML will send a batch to Australia for fulfilment via Aetherworks once they have seen what can be salvaged. 

This can result in three different scenarios. 

#1: We hold fulfillment until the books arrive and then start sending games to all backers. 

#2: We ship to backers that did not chose the Beauty Lover pledge level, and then send the Beauty Lover ones out as soon as the books arrive at Aetherworks. 

#3: We send the games to everyone, and then ship the books to the Beauty Lover pledge level holders once they arrive in Australia at Aetherworks.  This may incur additional shipping charges. 

So, please beauty lover pledge holders. Let me know in the comments which you prefer. Since I know several of you don't comment on these, I'm going to be contacting you directly as well.

Shipping Update Take 2...

Hello Everyone,

There was a comment today as to an update. As it turns out, I wrote one last Friday, but after sending it, it vanished into the Internet Ether. So it seems none of you got it. So here is take 2. 

Shipping is on it's way. What that means is, the games have left China are on the boats to their fulfillment centers. The ones that will be distributed in Asia actually went by truck and should be getting ready to be mailed to you. The ones being shipped in Australia are headed to Melbourne right now. Here's a picture of the tracking information for the COSCO - Hong Kong. 

I will send another quick update with the ship tracking information for the USA (which will handle fulfillment to all non Asia and Australia backers) as soon as I get the ship name.  So the first phase of shipping has started!!!

The USA bound games

Well hello again! 

So here is the information on the US bound ship. Please remember that this ship will carry the games to the USA to Quartermaster Logistics. They will then repackage and redistribute the games to all fulfillment centers that are handling everything except Asia and Australia. So if you are in US, CA, GB, DE, (well all of EU) etc. your games will be on this ship as of 9 June. 

We had hoped, and planned that we'd actually be shipping from fulfillment centers as of last week, but the world being in the state it is, things are running late. I hope being able to track the ship helps. ;-) It's kind of fun. Without further adieu the ship information is

VSL: YM WELLHEAD 027E
ETD YTN: 09-JUN
ETA NYC: 09-JUL

This means that it will depart from Yantian on 9 June, and should arrive in New York on 9 July. It will then go overland to QML HQ in Florida. At that point it will be repacked and sent to fulfillment destinations globally and of course from there to your doors.  You can click the image below to see the ship tracking. 

So hopefully that ship gets into and out of port in the next 3-4 days! Keep an eye out.

It's been a while...

Hey All,

Sorry it's been so long since the last update. There isn't much to report on while the machines are running and I think this COVID thing has us all on weird schedules and sometimes very busy. That being said I hope you are safe and well. 

Guess what? Manufacturing is finished. There was a slight delay because the manufacturer didn't print the shipping cartons correctly but that's fixed. We are working with Quartermaster Logistics (QML) to handle fulfilment.  They have the final backer address list and we are getting the bulk shipping sorted out. 

There will be three chunks of shipping. A big chunk to the US, a big chunk to AU and a couple cartons locally into China. As soon as I have ship names etc I'll send you guys some tracking information. 

Once the boats get the games to their respective locations, QML will send smaller bulk packages to their UK/EU shipping partners and to Aetherworks in Australia who will be sending you your games. I look forward to that! 

Now, as you might have noticed, it's already May. We wanted to have started shipping from QML by this point. However the impact of COVID, and the misprint by the manufacturer has slipped our schedule a bit. We still think we can start shipping in May, but it probably won't be finished until June. Sorry for the delay. At least we still kept a pretty short timeframe between campaign close and shipping.
