12 hours to go!

Hello Everyone! 

We only have about 12 hours to go in the Campaign! You guys have blown past Stretch Goal #3! So we will be looking at premium draw bags. I'll send some ideas out to you all. Although recently people have me thinking that blue with white text would be inline with the box art and look nice. 

What do you think? Dark Blue with White Text? Yes / No? (leave a comment and let me know). 

Let anyone you know that is interested that Rare Roses only has 12 hours left and they'll want to be backing if they want in.

Hey Gang, 

We are just under 7 hours to go. I'm jet lagged and might be asleep when we hit the 0 hour. (early meetings tomorrow.) But I'm going to try to be awake! It's close to celebration time, although full disclosure, I've been celebrating a bit since day 2. :-)

Hello Everyone,

I got settled in the hotel and checked our Kickstarter and was very happy to see how well we did while I was flying! 

Shop Card Custom Art Goal Unlocked! 

Wow you guys are amazing. Not only did you blow away the $9000(AUD) Stretch Goal, but we're almost to the $10,000 mark! If we get there, we are going to get a Heat Embossed Market Bag. I think those will be cool.... 

Let's push through those Stretch Goals the last 36 hours!

Hello Everyone,

Today was a good day. We're on the way up. That's always the best way to go.  As we close out the second week of a three week campaign, we are just over $5750 USD ($8500AUD) in funding. Not bad, but we can do better. To help, I've got two announcements for your backing pleasure.

Seltene Rosen auf Deutsch

I have found a volunteer to convert the rules for Rare Roses into German! So we will have a German language version of the rules in PDF form for the game. So if you have friends who speak German, let them know that Rare Roses is going to be ready for them.  I haven't found anyone who has the time to translate all of the Order Cards, but as I mentioned on the Campaign page, if we get enough backers (500) from a German speaking country, we'll do a physical printing of the game in German. That goes for other languages too. Spanish, French, Chinese, Japanese, you bring them, we'll make it. 

I like Art!

OK, so the other thing I wanted to tell you is this... I really like Nene's artwork, and because I'm selfish I want more of it in Rare Roses. So, in order to help that, I've lowered the funding goal for all of the Stretch Goals.  That means that we get MORE Stuff at lower funding levels. 

• From $10,000 to $9000 Custom Artwork for the back of the Shop Cards
• From $12,000 to $10,000 Embossed Draw Bags
• From $15,000 to $12,000 The surprise Stretch Goals

So we are only about $350 USD away from getting the custom artwork for the Shop Cards! Let's do it!!

First day of Week 3

Well this is it. The last Wednesday of the campaign! We had a good spike for mid-campaign and I think we are doing pretty well. I'd like to thank our second Rose Breeder level backer (you know who you are) for a great $350AUD (about $237USD) pledge. They'll get to design their own Order Card that will be in every copy of the game, 2 signed Copies of the game, a Signed copy of Nene's Art book The Unwinding Path, and an embroidered Draw Bag. With the adjusted Stretch Goals we are only a handful of backers away from the Custom Shop Card Art goal! Let see if we can hit that by the end of tomorrow! 

Food Coma Incoming...

Speaking of Tomorrow... That would be Thursday here in Australia. So to all of our USA Backers, Happy Thanksgiving! Since I'm a transplant here and I was born in the USA, I actually have my friends over and share a Thanksgiving Day lunch with them on Saturday. They appreciate the idea behind Thanksgiving, and it's something they look forward to all year. Of course, it's not cold here. It will be about 90f. 

While I don't expect you to be checking Kickstarter on the Holiday, maybe while you're sitting around in a near food coma, you can let your friends know about this great new game you're anticipating early next year. :-) I think Rare Roses would be a great game for a holiday get-together.
